Festival Campsite Location:
Camping is situated on Beverley Racecourse and pre-booked campers will be welcomed by Campsite Jim and his team of trusty volunteers from 12 noon Friday 15 June to 10am Monday 18 June.
The campsite is located on ancient pastureland known as The Hurn; a beautiful and environmentally sensitive area.
We kindly ask that you respect the land and help us in our efforts to return it undamaged, free of rubbish and fit for animals to graze.
For the safety of the community and to preserve the area – No Chinese lanterns, fires or BBQ’s.
Caravans, Campervans and Motorhomes:
We accept them all up to 8 metres in length.
Longer units will be charged extra at a rate of £10 per metre or part thereof.
Please supply details of length at the time of booking.
Parking is on marked pitches (RH rear corner on peg).
After unhitching, caravanners will be required to move their towing vehicle to one of the free car parks onsite or to the free car park just across the road – more information on arrival.
Please let our welcome team know when you arrive if you need to use your vehicle during the weekend
Due to the site layout where campers on wheels are located – awnings are not permitted for Motorhomes and Caravans.
They are permitted though for small Campervans on The Hurn.
Bringing your dog to the festival?
Please read the information on this page in advance.
Electric hook-up is not available.
Not permitted on site for health and safety reasons and very importantly because animals graze on the land once the festival has finished.
When you arrive by vehicle:
To avoid damage to The Hurn and for safety reasons, we ask that vehicles do not access the tent pitching area for parking or unloading.
There is a designated free parking area for our campers with tents just a few meters away from the campsite and Jim and his team of helpers will be available to assist unloading if required.
May park next to their camping accommodation in a reserved area. Please note, blue badges must be displayed in the vehicle’s windscreen at all times.
Movement of Vehicles:
To avoid damage to The Hurn and for safety reasons, there is no moving of vehicles once parked.
If you are planning to use yours during the weekend, that is absolutely fine but you will be required to park in a different area. Just advise the team when you arrive.
24hr toilets / hot showers (chargeable) / 3 water points / chemical waste disposal.
Shower times: 7am to 12 noon and then 4pm to 8pm (Monday – 7am to 9am)
Visiting the historical town of Beverley is made easy with a regular shuttle bus service (timetable and details available soon) operated by Acklams, which will run to and from the festival all weekend.
