2018 DANCERS: Pecsaetan Morris
Pecsaetan Morris are a women’s Cotswold team from Sheffield and formed in 2001. Pecsaetan (pronounced “Peck-suh-tan”) is the name of an Anglo-Saxon tribe, meaning ‘dwellers of the Peak District’. Dancers wear white shirts, black trousers, and red, gold & purple ribbons. They perform dances based on the traditions of Bucknell, Bledington, Ilmington and Fieldtown. They are delighted to be returning to Beverley in 2018. Things to look out for: precise lines, unusual Bledington hook-legs, and fabulous music.
