Roy Bailey and Tony Benn's acclaimed production of 'The Writing on the Wall' is a presentation of an alternative view of how we got where we are today and where we could be going next.

Roy and Tony give a history of political dissent in words and song, mixing the history of resistance to oppression and exploitation in England from the Peasants' Revolt of the 14th century up to the present day interspersed with and illustrated by songs from folk-singer Roy Bailey.

In 2003, Roy Bailey and Tony Benn's collaboration was awarded 'Best Live Act' at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
